About Biolinks K.K.

Manufacturing rare microbial natural products for research since 2006.

Biolinks K.K. is a Japan-based manufacturer specializing in microbial-derived natural compounds for research use.

Since 2006, we have focused on the fermentation, purification, and structural verification of bioactive microbial metabolites, supplying research organizations and life science companies worldwide.

Unlike distributors, Biolinks directly manufactures its own compounds through an integrated workflow covering fermentation, downstream purification, and analytical verification. This enables consistent quality, complete traceability, and direct communication with the scientists responsible for production.

Many of our compounds have been supplied for years through OEM partnerships with international research reagent companies before becoming available directly under the Biolinks brand.

Today, we continue to expand our portfolio with first-in-market compounds, exclusive microbial metabolites, and products that remain difficult to obtain elsewhere.

First-in-Market Compounds

Since 2006, Biolinks has continuously introduced microbial natural products that, based on our market research at the time, were not commercially available from other research reagent suppliers. Many of these compounds later became commercially available through additional suppliers, reflecting their growing importance in life science research.

End-to-End Manufacturing

Unlike distributors, Biolinks manufactures microbial natural products through an integrated workflow covering fermentation, extraction, purification, structural verification, and quality documentation. This end-to-end approach provides consistent quality, analytical reliability, and complete manufacturing traceability.

① Microbial Fermentation
Cultivation of microbial strains under optimized fermentation conditions.
② Extraction & Recovery
Recovery of target metabolites from fermentation broth and biomass.
③ Purification
Chromatographic purification using multiple separation techniques.
④ Structural Verification
Identity confirmed by NMR, LC/UV and LC-MS analysis.
⑤ Quality Documentation
Manufacturing records and analytical documentation prepared for every batch.

Facilities

Our manufacturing workflow is supported by specialized equipment used throughout fermentation, purification, and structural verification. These facilities enable reliable production, analytical verification, and consistent quality of microbial natural products for research use.
